Release notes

What's new

Release-note entries from The Sourcing Engine, the recruitment software by FTR ST8 B.V., grouped by month. Each line is a change you can see in the product, switched on for every workspace.

October 2026

10 release-note entries

  1. A candidate's email address and phone number sit together in the header of their profile, to copy, add or edit.

  2. On a phone, a vacancy's title and the people working on it get the full width of the screen.

  3. A hiring manager's vacancy list says a role is waiting for their approval only when it is.

  4. For your team, chat now lives in the Inbox, and a link to a chat opens the conversation there.

  5. A CV opens fitted to the width of the screen, for recruiters and for hiring managers in the portal.

  6. A vacancy's salary and fee can be set in 13 currencies, CHF, NOK, SEK and DKK among them.

  7. Change a vacancy's hiring manager while it waits for approval, and the request moves to the new one.

  8. A vacancy's pipeline lists the candidates who were not selected in their own group below the board.

  9. Reports open on the current week, switch to the month, and download as a weekly or a monthly report.

  10. A vacancy asks for a qualification as a level and a subject together, plus a second one it would also accept.

September 2026

16 release-note entries

  1. Replace a candidate's CV and keep the previous one on file, visible to your team only.

  2. Filter the candidate list by the date someone was added and by job title.

  3. Every new applicant to a vacancy becomes one follow-up task for its recruiter.

  4. Move a candidate to another vacancy instead of removing and re-adding them, and see first what comes along.

  5. Opening a vacancy for your team and publishing it on your careers page are now two separate steps.

  6. Candidates added in the last 14 days and not on any pipeline are marked as new, and one filter lists them.

  7. A candidate's CV opens in a panel over their profile, with a button to open it in its own tab.

  8. Candidates can suggest up to three other interview times, and recruiters can set the time themselves.

  9. The CSV import reads LinkedIn Recruiter exports and counts the duplicates before anything is saved.

  10. The vacancy list names the client's hiring manager under the client, and the talent acquisition manager beside the recruiter.

  11. A vacancy can go ahead without hiring-manager approval, with the reason on record, and the choice can be undone.

  12. After any interview round, a hiring manager can go straight to the offer and say why.

  13. Proposing interview times can be skipped, for an interview arranged some other way.

  14. The AI draft of a new vacancy says what it was drafted from and what it had to assume.

  15. Applicants on your careers page add a cover letter as a file, or write it in the form.

  16. By default, a new vacancy goes to its hiring manager for approval: they approve it or propose changes in the client portal.

What goes on this list?

A change goes on it when it is in the version the live platform runs, you can see it in the product, and it is switched on for every workspace. Work you can't see stays off it, and so does anything switched on for only some workspaces. Each line is our summary of the platform's own release note.
